Team

Our Mission:

To support our clients with compassion and understanding through their process of becoming debt free. To share the good news of Jesus to those that are open to this and to pray for our clients.


Our Team 

You will be working in close contact with our debt coaches and service team leader.


Role: Befriender

To support and accompany a Debt Coach on the initial 3 meetings with a client. The befriender role is to be a point of friendship and support for the client, checking on their wellbeing and supporting them in the process. Sharing faith where possible and appropriate.  


Pre-Requisites: 

  •       A DBS, organised by The Well Church
  •       Be a Church connected Christian
  •       Attend a 2-hour Befriender training
  •       Be available during daytime hours


Expectations & Commitment

  •       Need to be available during the day time
  •       Time; can give as little as 2 hours to as much as 6 hours per week, depending on the workload and how many clients you would like to support.
  •       Ideally, but not essential, be able to drive.
  • Join when able the CAP prayer meeting
